Analytics & Quality Control
ALDOCHEM analyses each peptide lot by HPLC and LC-MS. HPLC establishes purity; LC-MS confirms identity and mass. Every batch receives a Certificate of Analysis with interpreted results and a second-reviewer signature — on ALDOCHEM material and on client-supplied material submitted for standalone testing.
Methods
Two methods form the core of lot release. HPLC (reversed-phase) separates the target peptide from process-related and structurally similar impurities and gives a purity value by peak area; preparative purification typically reaches 95–99%.
LC-MS confirms peptide identity by observed mass against the theoretical mass for the submitted sequence, and resolves co-eluting species a single-wavelength chromatogram may not distinguish. Both are run per lot, not once per product.
Interpreted reports
Raw data is not the deliverable. ALDOCHEM issues interpreted reports that state what the data shows and how it was read. Results are interpreted by the analyst and checked by a second reviewer before the Certificate of Analysis is signed.
- A representative HPLC chromatogram with the purity value.
- LC-MS mass confirmation against the theoretical mass for the sequence.
- A results table listing method, acceptance basis, and measured values.
- A second-reviewer signature on the Certificate of Analysis.
Standalone analysis of client material
Analytics are available as a standalone service, independent of manufacturing. Clients submit their own peptide material for HPLC purity and LC-MS identity testing. Scope, methods, and acceptance basis are agreed during technical review before material is accepted.
- Material synthesised elsewhere and submitted for independent verification.
- Confirmation of identity and purity on received or stored lots.
- HPLC and LC-MS on client-supplied powder or solution.
What a Certificate of Analysis contains
A Certificate of Analysis accompanies each batch and records identity and purity for the specific lot.
- Product name and, where applicable, the submitted sequence.
- Lot or batch number for traceability.
- HPLC purity result and the method used.
- LC-MS identity confirmation: observed mass against theoretical mass.
- Results table, appearance, analyst result and second-reviewer signature.
- Date of analysis and a research-use-only statement.
Confidential handling
Submitted sequences, client-supplied material, and analytical results are handled as confidential. Data is shared only with the client and parties the client authorises. Sequence and lot information is retained for traceability under the quality management system and handled in line with GDPR.
Submit material for analysis
Send the material details or the sequence for standalone HPLC and LC-MS analysis. ALDOCHEM confirms methods and scope during technical review.
Analytical services and RUO products are for laboratory research only, not for human or veterinary use. ALDOCHEM operates an ISO 9001-style quality management system with a GMP-aligned manufacturing partner in Opole, Poland.
